The conference official language is English but submissions in Portuguese are also allowed for the Portuguese-English Exchange Strand.

Contributions to the conference are submitted through the EasyChair system.

15 February 2015:deadline for submission of papers, workshops and posters
Note that presenting authors must pay the conference registration fee for a contribution to be included in the conference program.


Before submitting you must Register in the system as Author.
Please follow the steps:

  1. Set up an Account as an Author
  2. Select “create an account” to register. (You will then be automatically directed to a new page).
  3. Fill in the textbox with the distorted words and click on “Continue”.
  4. Complete the form and click on “Continue”.
  5. You will receive an email. Use the link provided in the email to continue the account registration process.
  6. Fill out all of the required information and click the “Create my account” button to finalize the account registration process.


Types of Submission:

Submissions should be relevant to the overall conference theme and address one of the elected Specific Themes. Note that proposals must be send as Word files (.doc or .docx) using the Templates available.

Papers: Max. 8 pages
Papers may be proposed as research articles reporting research or theoretical developments, as well as presenting descriptions of innovative experiences and projects on the use of technological resources.

Workshops: Max. 2 pages
Workshops are expected to involve practical work and aim at sharing good practices, discussing examples on the pedagogical integration of new technologies (tools, software, and materials) as well as delivering ideas and experiences relevant for teaching and learning environments. Note that each workshop session should set a limit of 30 participants and may be 1,5 hours or 3 hours long.

Posters: Max. 2 pages
Posters are aimed at visually presenting key ideas, concepts, studies and experiences on the use of technologies in mathematics teaching and learning.
